How we protect your team's data
Station groups trust PrepRep with their prospect lists and pipeline. Here's how that information is kept safe.
The short version
Your data is separated from every other customer's
Each station group's prospects, reports and team data are walled off at the database level. Access rules are enforced by the database itself on every request, not just by the app's screens.
Role-based access inside your team
Reps see their own prospects. Managers see their market. Admins see their whole group. Admins control who has a seat, and can remove access at any time.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Every connection to PrepRep uses HTTPS. Data is stored with a managed database provider that encrypts it at rest.
Card details never touch our servers
Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Payment information is entered on Stripe's secure page and stored by Stripe, not by PrepRep.
Shared reports use private links
When a rep shares a report with a prospect, it's sent as a unique, hard-to-guess link to that one report. It doesn't give access to anything else.
Monitored around the clock
Errors are tracked automatically, so we hear about problems as they happen, often before a customer notices.
What we collect about prospects
PrepRep works with publicly available business information: websites, search demand, public listings and reviews. Reps add their own notes and deal details, which stay within your group.
